About Us
William Harris HVACR Solutions is a third generation, family owned and operated HVACR contractor located in Barrington, Rhode Island. Much has changed in our world and society since the company's beginnings, and owner/operator Will Harris has kept up with the technological and environmental trends. Specializing in high efficiency heat pump systems, we aim to lower carbon footprints and fossil fuel dependency, all while increasing comfort. Exceptional quality, the industry's best equipment and fantastic customer service are what we consistently deliver. Our employees have completed extensive manufacturer service and installation trainings and are part of National Grid's Heating and Cooling Program Approved Contractor List in Rhode Island and Mass Save's Heat Pump Installer Network.

Meet The Owner
I started in the industry back in 1997 and was lucky enough to apprentice one of the most talented and knowledgeable technicians in the trade, Ronny Petrarca. Ronny helped my passion for the trade grow. I graduated from LaSalle Academy in Providence and went on to earn my bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Rhode Island. After graduating, I went full time into the trade and have remained in the trade as both a business owner and educator ever since.
I am a licensed and accomplished HVACR instructor in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts, a registered apprentice sponsor and possess my Rhode Island Contractor Master Pipe Fitter/Refrigeration Master 1 and Massachusetts Refrigeration Contractor licenses. I have attended and obtained numerous manufacturer’s service and installation trainings all to help provide the highest level of quality for my customers.
My business philosophy is one of social responsibility. The principle that in addition to pursuing profit generation, a business owner should strive to act in a way that positively affects society and the world. I have a commitment to promote the well-being of society and the environment while lessening negative on them. I work towards this goal by providing high wages for my employees, training opportunities and tuition payment for post-secondary education. My commitment to environmental sustainability is achieved by educating customers about our industry’s impact, providing whole home solutions to reduce overall energy consumption, and lower fossil fuel usage. These solutions frequently are achieved by partnering with insulating/weatherization, solar and electrical contractors.
